Attracting Wealth
Thinking
positively about wealth and having expectations about attracting the
wealth desired, by itself is not sufficient. Attracting wealth is part
of the Law of Attraction, so the law must be followed. Visualization and
desire alone are not sufficient, because these are ways of manipulating
the law rather than being in conformity with it.
The law
of attraction demands that receiving must always be balanced with
giving. They are two sides of the same reality that must be present. If
they are not, such as exists through greed as represented in the world
economy, then we create a huge gap between rich and poor. There is a
lack of equality created and an abuse of people when more is received,
or taken, than is given in return.
Wealth or
money is a symbol of exchange for goods or services. This is what we
must give – goods or services that others need and want. If we do this
we will receive accordingly and proportionately.
Following
this law in this way assures us that we will always have enough wealth
to be able to continue to provide goods or services. This giving must
also reflect our life purpose so that what we are giving is from our
heart and enables us to use our skills and talents so that there is
quality in what we are giving.
This
principle also pertains to retirement years when we must continue to
provide for the needs and wants of others. Otherwise our resources
continue to diminish. How we do that will usually change because of age
and circumstance.

Exercises:
1. What are you giving to others? Is this giving from your
heart? Do you use your best skills and talents?
2. How else could you give that would be more of a service to
others and would at the same time reflect more fully your life
purpose?
3. If you are retired, do you volunteer your time, energy and
service to others?
4. Are you open to receive what you need or do you have an inner
belief that you do not deserve more?
5. Do you try to get without giving, thus short-circuiting the
Law of Attraction?
