Life is truly beautiful and magical. But we are often too busy and preoccupied with mundane matters to see and enjoy its beauty and magic as it is manifest in our own lives. We need to rediscover its beauty and magic in order to be inspired, empowered and motivated to pursue our life purpose and live in a loving, creative and generous way. This retreat will take you through a re-awakening of your own potentials. It will assist you to deepen your enjoyment of all you do and renew your commitment to a fulfilling life.

Holiday Time

You will have plenty of free time to walk the beaches, relax, reflect and socialize with the other participants from different countries. There will also be opportunities for excursions to other places, including a 10 kilometre hike through a national forest on the slopes of an inactive volcano where there is incredible tropical bird life.

Retreat Topics

The retreat will involve lectures, discussions, reflections and meditations to enhance understanding, meaning and changes in consciousness.

There will be three optional Q and A/discussion sessions for everyone who has taken the counselling courses in Canada or Europe and for everyone who has purchased the Soul-based Counselling Program from The Soul Journey website.

Accommodations and Meals

The retreat will be held at Las Olas Resort at Playa La Barqueta on the Pacific coast about 25 minutes from the city of David, Panama.

The resort has pools and a fitness facility for their guests. This is a very tranquil setting. As there is very little development in the immediate area, you can enjoy the sea, the sun and tropical breezes.

Most meals will be eaten in the resort’s restaurant. Restaurant meals are very modestly priced.

(Please note that the Virtual Tour on the Las Olas website is not of the hotel, but of the condos next door which are owned by the hotel.)

Getting There

We can assist you in making arrangements for travel, hotels and local transportation. We will send you suggestions for exploring this wonderful country, and help you to find a place to stay if you want to spend a few days in the mountains.

Registration

The fee for both the retreat tuition and the accommodation for 7 nights is only $795 USD per person based on two people per room. There is a $275 additional fee for anyone wanting a room to themselves or if they are travelling with a partner who shares their room but doesn't attend the retreat. The room has 2 queen beds, bathroom, TV and balcony overlooking the beach and ocean.

Cancellation Policy: If you cancel by September 30th you receive a refund of the amount paid less $100. If you cancel after September 30th, there is no refund.
